' The Death Of A Heart '

line

There once was a little girl that lived in an old house, she looked about her but there was no one there except the big black monsters that scared her and made her hide, so afraid they would find her and hurt her inside. Some times she would run as fast as she could to a field of wild flowers that grew in the woods and there she stayed as long as she could. She felt safe and happy in that field of wild flowers but sometimes she'd cry, she would look up to the sky and ask God why the black monsters did not go away, why did they find her and hurt her everyday? And if he would just make them stop hurting her, she promised she'd be good. She dreamed of the day she would be big enough to run away. She thought; some day I will be grown with children of my own and I will never let the big black monsters hurt them, she would protect them and keep them safe from the big black monsters that had no face."

There once was a young woman of 17 getting married to the man that was in her dreams. She was so happy, so happy at last, now she could finally let go of the past. The day was here her dreams for filled she had all of life's best, a husband, children a family at last. She was so happy she laughed all the time; everyone called her smiley, that smile I am told was beautiful to see; she had eyes that sparkled as if they were lit by the sea.

The years went by quickly to fast for her taste; she looked in the mirror and could not believe, for there was this old woman that had taken her place. At that very moment she felt her heart break, for her children grew up and went away, with her husband there stood another, that was all she could take. She wondered, what in the world had she done that was so bad, it had taken away every thing in her life that she had. She lost that sparkle, the smile she once had, she lost her mind too from her heart ache so bad.

She was with the black monsters, but this time they had a face. Thier face was that of the life she now found herself in, the life of pain and aging, all alone again. She reached out to many asking for help and to understand all that she felt, begging for them not to leave her alone now, that holding her hand was best as she walked down this road to take her last test.

She went to the window and looked up to the sky, she bowed her head and asks God why? She waited for answers and when none came she laid down on her bed as it started to rain. She thought of the beautiful field of wild flowers that had come up to her chest; she closed her eyes and tried to rest. She could see herself laughing and dancing in the flowers again, a happy little girl in the field of her past. She saw a bright light shinning with angels and doves flying down to her from up above. She saw her mother there smiling at her and at that very moment she felt her love. The pain in her body she had no more . As her happiness and peace of mind begun, she knew God was proud of all she had done.

And as the angels held her close, so close to their chest, she smiled, closed her eyes and took her last breath.
